winter lighting

I have such a love hate relationship with winter and photography

the lighting is always fabulous all day long but it's so much harder to have sessions

.cause lets face it.

WHO wants to go out in the cold for photos? 

(especially when you've got little ones)

Bridals are always spectacular in the snow!

 but brides don't know how worth it it is to go out and freeze or wait till the yucky spring comes in.

I wish summer and winter could come to some kind of an agreement on lighting 

until then we'll just continue to hide inside

Meet Nate & Amy!

This couple is one of those awesome couples that met in High School

waited through the ENTIRE mission and now they're finally tying the knot!

They were so fun to photograph! I'm so glad I get to work with them through their entire wedding!

Unfortunately for me thats not till March.

Amy just told me she finally found her dress so looks like her bridals are going to be in the snow

YES! 

I adore snowy bridals!!

can't wait.

I'll upload more from this shoot tomorrow but for now it's 2 a.m and my husband just caught me at my computer ha ha ha

The Montgomery Family!

I've done a lot of shoots in my life but this one was definitely one of my most challenging!

.fun.

but challenging

The Nicki and Mike were FINALLY blessed with

not one

but TWO little ones 9 months ago and they are such cute parents!

The shoot was a challenge because I've never poses with 2 new borns and it was surprisingly difficult.

It was also FREEZING cold and these two kiddos were not  having that.

Regardless we still got a few fun shots in :)
