Happy New Year everyone!! I'm feeling good this new years and I've got lots of resolutions! Starting with being a better blogger! Can I just start out this post by saying how much I LOVE RED HEADS!! They are always so fun and so photogenic! Miss Abbi Mills didn't fall short of that at all! 

I'm also loving all these young girls leaving on their missions and needing mission photos! Abbi is leaving for the Buenos Aries Argentina mission in the spring and we're all so excited for her!

Porter Madness!

I had the PERFECT fall session the other day! The lighting was amazing, the colors were  perfect and the family was darling! The little guy Cameron got sick of me in his face real fast and we had to get creative with keeping him happy but we had so much fun! 

Isn't he SUCH A LITTLE STUD!!

This session had a fun twist at the end I couldn't wait to be a part of!

McCurdy Family

This little family is one of my favorites! Such a funny couple and Debbie is quickly becoming one of my best friends here in Colorado. Tyler is attending Medical School with my husband and there little Mia is so cute I could just SMASH her! I'm shooting her 1st birthday here in a few weeks so look out for that! Can't wait!

PPA

Last week I up and decided to fly to Salt Lake and attend the Professional Photographers Associations Annual Regional Conference! It was a life changing experience to say the least! The classes were great and I enjoyed them but the part I loved the most was all the professionals I met and got to know! I was hanging out all day with these amazing photographers who were so willing to answer all of my millions of questions ha ha ha. They were so great and helped me and my studio in ways that I could never have learned by myself. The conference was 4 days long and I was pretty much doing "conference stuff" from sun up to sun down!

 I was in heaven! 

While I was there Jeff Johnson and Tom Hern (two pro's and past presidents of the PPA) came and introduced themselves to me and asked if I wanted to go out shooting with them! We ended up going and shooting all over Down Town and I loved every minute of it!

 Tom and Jeff of course answered all of my obnoxious questions on how to get your masters, where to stay at nationals, whats the best way to create your workflow, what programs do you use, what lenses can't you live without, how to go Loan on a print! We shot for hours and then headed back to the conference for another full day of awesome classes!

 For any photog's that read this blog I would HIGHLY recommend becoming a PPA member, not so you can go to nationals or go to the conferences but for the people you meet and the resources you gain! That is priceless for me!

While I was in Utah I blew my savings and bought me some new lenses, new accesories and the all new JUST released 2 days ago

Its Been A Long TIme Coming

 Hey followers! So the last little while for my family has been going at 100 mph! 

We just moved to Denver Colorado and went on a month long trip to Europe so I'm way too far behind on this blog. I promise from here on out I'll be better! Since I now live in Denver I don't have much of a client base so i'm taking this opportunity to shadow the VERY talented Jessica McAllister! I can't wait to mentor with such a talented artist! Until then,

This was a really special wedding for me. The Groom has been by my side almost every day since I was 15 years old and I never thought he'd get married because I wasn't even sure he'd find anyone good enough for him, and then he met this beautiful bride. 

I was so glad when Darlene asked me to shoot their wedding because I really needed to get to know her better.
